Senior Program
-Seniors in Action- |
We provide Elderly Services for all Seniors that
live in the Coopermill Manor and the Maple Terrace High-Rise.
Monday through Friday nutritious lunches are provided at the James D. Singer Nutrition
Site and the Maple Terrace Nutrition Site for a donation of $1.50 or free to those
of you who cannot afford to pay. If you would like to order a lunch, call Carol
at 454-9714 and I will make sure that you have one. The Singer
Center Site is open daily from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and
the Maple Terrace is open from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm.
Lunches are served daily at the Singer Center Site at 11:00 am and at
the Maple Terrace Site around 11:20 am.
All Activities and transportation are free of charge. If we go out to eat, see a
movie or go shopping then the cost will be each individuals responsibility. |

Monday: we play grocery bingo at
the Singer Site at 9:45 am. At 12:30 pm is grocery,
banking, and pharmacy day for the High-Rise, we go to Wal-Mart, Kroger's and Aldi's
and every other week we go to Pick-N-Save. If you want to go to any of these places
then be in the lobby area around 12:30. |
Tuesday: is armchair volleyball
at the Sunrise Center. You sit in a chair and volley a beach ball across a net.
Volleyball is played in two(8) week intervals one in the spring and one in the fall.
We leave the Singer Center around 12:15 and the High-Rise around 12:45,
we play (2) games each Tuesday for eight weeks and then take a break until the next
season. The last game is always a potluck luncheon.
1st Tuesday of each month: Grocery Bingo is played at the Maple High Rise nutrition
Site at 9:45. |

Wednesday: Is grocery, bank, and
pharmacy day for the Coopermill Manor residents. We go around 12:30
if you need to go to any of these places I will provide transportation just call
Carol at 454-9714 and I will pick you up at your residence and
bring you back home. You can go to Pick-N-Save, Cambell's, Save-A-Lot or the Wal-Mart
Super Store. |
Thursday: Is bowling at the Sunrise
Bowling alley. We bowl (3) games, it is free from June until the end of August after
August then it will cost you $2.00 for (3) games. We leave the Singer Site around
12:15 and the High-Rise around 12:30 if you want
to go then call Carol at 454-5463 or if you live at the Maple Terrace,
be in the lobby area around 12:30. |
We also take monthly trips to different places.
Here are some examples of the places we go.
Museums, such as the Living Bible Museum in Mansfield, Ohio and Factory Tours such as Bear
Creek and Fenton Glass in West Virginia.
